Rahm Might Want to Reconsider His Messaging

People, let us take a clear look at what is going on here, in the City of Chicago:

Now, I know that the Emanuel camp prides itself on specificity but they might want to reconsider his messaging.

Yes, it's true, if the Mayor of Chicago continues to f*ck the public by stuffing public services into the proverbial meat-grinder, it will churn out plenty of spoils for his cronies and cohorts. It's The Shock Doctrine that Naomi Klein wrote about and the tactics of disaster capitalism are indeed, very specific:  destroy public services for privatized profit. And, if people get in the way, well, f*ck the public.

De-funding public libraries, public mental health clinics, public schools ... for a comprehensive review of Emanuel's policies as Mayor of the City of Chicago, and the public's spirited response, i.e Karen Lewis and Chicago Teachers, please refer to Kari Lydersen's book, Mayor 1%.

I'm with Chuy.  Commissioner Jesus Garcia has 30 years of public service behind him and despite what Rahm may think, government is for the public by the public.

Public:  noun.  the people constituting a community, state, or nation.

That's specific enough for me.
